Delhi Technological University (DTU) Placement Satistics 2011-12

Delhi Technological University (DTU) academic session began on 2nd August and within just 3 weeks, 86 jobs offers have already been received from 16 reputed companies which visited the University so far.

The companies which have already visited includes Microsoft, Deloitte, Goldman Sachs, Direction, Texas Instruments, Indian Oil, Maruti, TCS and Indian Navy. The highest pay package received so far is 16 lakh per annum. DTU has already booked dates for placements for another 30 companies till 30th September, 2011. The campus placement continues till next April.

The companies for which the dates have already been booked include Mckinsey, Oracle, Engineers India Limited, NTPC, Wipro, Info Fidelity and foreign companies such as Work Applications of Japan, EPIC of America which offer pay package ranging from Rs. 28 to Rs. 37 lacs, informs Neeraj Nimwal, Placement Officer, DTU. It may be mentioned that last year for 2010-11 academic session DTU had received 955 job offers from 176 companies.

This way we equip our students with the wings of knowledge and power of innovation so much needed for excelling in the industries”, informs Prof. P.B. Sharma, Vice Chancellor, DTU.
